MOZAMBICAN FOREST HONEY

Moçambican Honey is delicious! And organic! It can also be used in toiletries and cosmetics. Our natural forest honey is purchased directly from local bee keepers.

Our honey is available in 450g (net) jars or bulk for export and in smaller jars upon request.

Our honey venture is part of a much wider programme of working with rural bee-keepers with the aim of enhancing their income generating options and standards of living. At the same time the option to make quality value added products is created.

By introducing international standards of harvesting and processing of the honey a much wider market for the wax and honey becomes available to the beekeepers. This organic honey is not yet certified but our aim is to achieve international organic certification.

There are a number of seasonal harvests throughout the year depending upon the blooming times of the indigenous trees. The varieties from Sofala include Manga (Mango Tree - yummy!) and Massasa.
